Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Mechanical Design and Applications Engineer, located at our facility in Farnworth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical components, creating detailed technical specifications, and developing manufacturing processes. Daily responsibilities include utilizing CAD software for component design, collaborating with colleagues to solve engineering problems, and supporting manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product integration. You will also assist in product testing, performance analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design tools
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
* Capability in analyzing design specifications and creating technical documentation
* Problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset for teamwork
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Experience or knowledge of aerospace or industrial manufacturing is advantageous
