Your Team The supply system engineering team are responsible for the clean water supply and demand balance across the region. They will manage the water strategic storage, planned and unplanned events on the network to ensure that, reviewing previous day performance and looking ahead to plan for the future. They are also heavily involved in incident support, both at a control room, production, networks and wider business perspective during periods of escalation. Your Role As a Graduate – Water Engineer, you will: • Manage the Water Supply Systems in your area to deliver current and future performance requirements. • Use Technical Expertise to plan and manage the operation of the water supply system to deliver out performance through the optimal plan (i.e. cheapest water production) • Ensure that robust financial management and commercial awareness form the foundation of all business decisions and also act as a company expert for the development of Water Supply System Strategy. • Analyse regional demand to identify local and regional anomalies to help target leakage activities. • Ensure outage, headroom, production and transmission constraints are visible and understood within Central Control.
