Role Description This is a full-time, office-based opportunity for a Planning Consultant to join a growing consultancy in London. The successful candidate will provide planning advice, conduct site appraisals, review planning policy, prepare planning statements, and support the coordination of planning applications. You will undertake research, liaise with clients and stakeholders, analyse planning data, and present findings to support successful project outcomes. Collaboration with clients, technical consultants, and internal team members will be a key part of the role. Key Responsibilities Providing professional planning advice to clients Conducting site and planning potential appraisals Reviewing local and national planning policy Preparing planning statements and supporting application submissions Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and consultants Undertaking research and data analysis to support planning outcomesQualifications and Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience assessing sites or property planning potential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in planning consultancy or advisory roles Ability to work collaboratively and manage deadlines effectively Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach Bachelor's degree in Town Planning, Urban Development, or a related discipline Good knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation RTPI membership or eligibility preferred Minimum of two years' post-degree professional planning experienceInterested?
