Rising Stars Wrap-Around Clubs Ltd is a friendly, well-established company with 18 years of experience in providing wraparound care. We strive to create a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment where children can engage in a variety of sporting and creative activities, while also offering parents and carers extended childcare provision. We offer breakfast, after-school, and, in some locations, holiday clubs at 13 different sites across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire—and we’re continuing to grow! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Wrap-Around Club Deputy Manager for a busy and happy primary school in Hitchin. The ideal candidate should have at least a Level 2 qualification in Childcare. The role is a full-time position, requiring 30 hours per week, including 6 hours of office-based planning and administrative tasks a week. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:15am to 9:00am and 2:45pm to 6:15pm for 52 weeks of the year. Our Holiday Clubs run from 7:45am – 5:15pm. The Deputy Manager will work 3 days a week at Holiday Club. Flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate. Applicants with primary age children will receive free childcare at any of our settings or holiday clubs. We’re seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with primary-aged children, shows empathy and understanding, and can remain calm in any situation—all while bringing a great sense of humour. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Club Manager to create a fun, engaging environment, plan a diverse range of enjoyable activities, and support the children’s well-being during their time in your care.
