Senior Hardware Engineer – Office-Based in Ware
We’re on the lookout for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join a specialist engineering team working on some seriously cool tech—long-range surveillance camera systems. This is an office-based role in Ware, and it’s all about hands‑on design, development, and testing of cutting‑edge hardware.
What you’ll be doing:
* Designing and testing complex analogue and digital circuits for advanced camera systems.
* Owning PCB design and layout, including component selection.
* Working closely with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to bring ideas to life.
* Mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise.
* Creating and running test plans to make sure everything works perfectly.
* Supporting the move from design to production and troubleshooting any tricky issues.
What we’re looking for:
* A degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or similar).
* Solid experience in high‑speed digital design, power supplies, or motion control systems.
* Someone who can take a project from concept all the way to production.
* Familiarity with tools like SPICE, PSpice, and Altium Designer.
* Bonus points if you’ve worked with camera tech or motion control before.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and great communication.
