The Opportunity
William Grant & Sons Holdings Ltd is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join our Central Services Legal team. This pivotal role supports the Group Company Secretary, the Global Legal Team, and the Boards of approximately 50 subsidiaries across the UK and internationally.
What you will be doing
* Play a key role in shaping and coordinating the company secretarial function across the Group.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance obligations.
* Maintain statutory books and coordinate filings with Companies House.
* Support board operations by preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and guiding directors on their duties.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external legal partners globally.
* Mentor the Legal Administrator and manage entity management software.
About You
* Proven experience in company secretarial services, ideally within the drinks industry.
* Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* A diplomatic and commercially minded professional with high integrity.
