Description Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) Address: Woolpit, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP30 9UP Salary: £45,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent. Required as soon as possible Reference: 0403 The role You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the charity, line management of the charity’s employees and to work with the trustees to deliver the charity’s statement of purpose and implement the charity’s strategy. The job will entail Leadership, operational management, governance, people management and partnership development. You will be responsible for Strategic development, leadership of the whole organisation, high levels of governance, financial management, relationship management and line management. You will need to be educated to A-level standard or equivalent diploma level qualifications to have significant experience of working in the voluntary sector or similar organisation excellent communication and interpersonal skills flexibility to meet the needs of the service, must be able to travel across Suffolk to be able to attend meetings offsite etc. SARS is Suffolk’s Emergency Medical Charity; our volunteer clinicians have treated thousands of patients involved in medical emergencies across Suffolk over the last 53 years and helped save countless lives.
