An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager - Switches to be based UK wide to join a leading design and manufacturer of electronic systems.
This role can be Fully Remote from anywhere in the UK, with travel required to the Bedford office once or twice per month as needed.
The Business Development Manager - Switches will be field-based and responsible for sourcing, targeting, developing, and winning new business in line with company growth targets. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling Rotary Switch products such as Encoders, Selectors, and Coded Switch solutions across sectors including Industrial, Energy, Telecoms, Pro-Audio, Medical, Transportation, Aerospace & Defence, and Test & Measurement.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in a direct sales role with switching products
* Ability to manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
* Research skills to understand prospects, products, competition, industry, and business requirements
* Ability to create proposals, presentations, and documentation for customers and internal teams in line with company procedures
