Pharmacy Patient Liaison / Field Sales RepresentativeOverview
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Pharmacy Patient Liaison to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging directly with patients — both over the phone and through home visits — to discuss our pharmacy services and support them with nominating our pharmacy for their prescriptions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional manner, and the ability to build trust with patients while representing our pharmacy's values.
This role involves working independently in the community, managing patient outreach, and maintaining accurate records of interactions. You will play a vital role in improving patient care and ensuring a smooth, personalised experience for all service users.
Key Responsibilities
* Contact patients by phone and in person to explain the benefits of our pharmacy's services.
* Visit patient addresses (as assigned) to assist with nomination forms and answer any questions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, ensuring they feel confident and supported.
* Promote pharmacy services such as prescription delivery, medication reviews, and health advice.
* Keep detailed and accurate records of patient calls, visits, and outcomes using the company's IT systems.
* Report progress and feedback to management regularly.
* Handle patient data with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
* Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure nominated patients are onboarded smoothly.
Requirements
* Previous experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or field sales is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, patient, and professional attitude when dealing with the public.
* Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
* Confidence using phones, tablets, or computers for recording activity.
* Good knowledge of local areas (advantageous for field visits).
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £17,300.08-£36,184.69 per year
Expected hours: 12.21 – 20 per week
