With a solid senior management structure and a well-established portfolio of care homes, the group are in the process of commissioning a new-build from the ground up.
The client are looking to find a Commissioning Manager who will not only open the home to the public but lead the growth of the service in the coming years.
This role will suit someone from a commissioning background who is keen to recruit and develop their own team.
Ideally, my client are looking for a nurse qualified candidate (RGN / RMN / RNLD) but are open to receiving applications from non-nurse managers with a rich history of managing nursing care homes to a 'GOOD' CQC rating.
A background in commissioning would be preferred, with a strong understanding of the local area but essential to the role is previous experience as a Care Home Manager. You’ll have managed services providing nursing, residential and dementia care and have a keen eye for detailed care plans, budgets and medication management.
As a leader, you’ll demonstrate good understanding of quality and governance and be able to inspire good practice within the team. My client is seeking a nurse qualified manager to take on the commissioning of a new service based in Leyland. You’ll have a strong business acumen, understanding of CQC regulations and be able to strategize the growth of the care home. As a leader, you’ll be visible and supportive, and as a manager you’ll promote quality care for each resident. In exchange, my client offers a competitive salary along with a quarterly bonus scheme.
