Technical Coordinator / Senior Technical Coordinator - Site Based (Milton Keynes)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator to join a residential project in Milton Keynes.
The role will be site based in Milton Keynes whilst preconstruction work will be done in their Head Office in London. The project has already progressed through a two-stage tender and is now moving into the next delivery phase, offering stability and genuine involvement from early stages through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the design development process, ensuring buildability, value engineering and risk mitigation are considered at all stages
2. Coordinate the delivery of high-quality technical and drawn information in line with programme and budget requirements
3. Manage and maintain design programmes to ensure timely approvals and information flow
4. Appoint, brief and manage external design consultants using clear and project-specific scopes of services
5. Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, including planning conditions, Building Regulations and sectional agreements
6. Lead tender and design coordination meetings as required, supporting the development of robust contractor proposals
7. Liaise closely with estimators, site teams and consultants to resolve design queries efficiently
