Job Opportunity: School Cleaners - Middlesbrough Area (Agency Work)
Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency cleaners to cover temporary roles within schools in the Middlesbrough area.
These roles are as-required, making them ideal for candidates looking to top up their regular hours or seeking flexible part-time work.
🕒 Working Hours:
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (subject to assignment availability)
🧹 Duties Include:
Hoovering and mopping floors
Cleaning toilets
Cleaning classrooms and staff rooms
Emptying bins
Dusting and wiping down surfaces
Sanitising touch points (e.g. door handles, light switches)
Sanitising desk areas💼 Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential
Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (£13/year)
- or be willing to pay £59.50 for a new Enhanced DBS
Completion of online training:
Food Hygiene
Safeguarding
Keeping Children Safe in Education💰 Pay Rate:
£12.21 per hour, paid weekly in arrears via Berry Recruitment
