We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team for a long-term placement through Tradewind Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs in a classroom and 1:1 setting. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing behaviour effectively. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.Requirements: Previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs (school or alternative provision). Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach. Ability to build positive relationships and encourage pupil engagement.
