We are seeking someone to join our family and fantastic team of ladies that help support our son, 19 who has cerebral palsy. He attends a special needs college, enjoys days out, loves music and stories and generally being surrounded by others.
Ideal Candidate :
Outgoing, confident, calm person but fun and energetic
Happy to work independently but also along side other members of the team (usually 2 to 1 day time)
Willing to do extras shifts to cover other carers on holidays
Responsibilities :
Providing all aspects of personal care
Feeding and fluid management (day carer)
Therapy (day carer)
Administering medication and supplements
Key Info :
£18-£20 ph (£20 for nights, weekends and abroad)
30+ hours per week contracted (set nights & extra day hours if wanted)
Night shifts are 9 or 10 hrs
Valid passport; DBS and references will be required
Full training and shadowing shifts
Previous support/care work would be beneficial
Pension and holidays paid
