Group Accounting & Control Team Member (Intercompany)
Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Financial Accounting & Control Team as a Group Accounting & Control Team Member (Intercompany). This small team handles key responsibilities within the wider Group Finance Team at WG&S. This role is ideal for someone seeking experience in a busy finance environment to develop communication, analysis, and planning skills.
Main Responsibilities
This role supports the effective management of intercompany transactions across a global group. Responsibilities include handling daily transactions, resolving queries from Business Units and support functions, and providing accurate reporting and reconciliations, such as a monthly intercompany matrix and mid-month reviews, aligned with a global control platform. Reporting to the Group Accounting & Controls Leader, you will safeguard our intercompany processes and serve as a subject matter expert.
Our Ideal Candidate
A proactive self-starter with experience in a large group environment and exposure to intercompany transactions. Excellent communication skills are essential to build rapport with diverse stakeholders globally. Experience with large data sets and structured control environments is advantageous. This role offers a great opportunity for part-qualified individuals or those pursuing an accounting qualification to gain exposure in a large, fast-paced FMCG business with a global footprint.
