The Big Cat Sanctuary is seeking a dynamic and motivated Partnerships Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our mission to protect and conserve some of the world's most endangered big cats.
About the Role
As Partnerships Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and managing partnerships with businesses, donors, and supporters both locally and globally. From securing corporate sponsorships and grants, to driving fundraising initiatives and supporting high-profile events, you'll help to ensure sustainable income streams that directly support our conservation work.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll represent The Big Cat Sanctuary at events, conferences, and networking opportunities, while also supporting colleagues and trustees behind the scenes to deliver impactful projects.
What You'll Do
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual partners
* Develop and deliver fundraising initiatives, securing sponsorships, donations, and grants
* Act as a key contact for conservation partners, sponsors, and fundraisers
* Represent BCS at events, conferences, and community engagements
* Support the Fundraising Committee and contribute to the annual report
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of fundraising and partnership activities
* Provide leadership, guidance, and a positive example to colleagues across the sanctuary
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development, or a similar role
* A confident communicator, able to network and present with impact
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
* A professional, proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
* A genuine passion for wildlife conservation and the values of The Big Cat Sanctuary
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and adapt to the needs of events and visitors
