A well-established technology driven MGA who have just been acquired by a global specialist Insurer have a new opportunity to join them in their Manchester Office as a PI Underwriter.
They are looking for strong driven candidates with experience within professional indemnity insurance. This could be an established Underwriter, an Assistant Underwriter looking to step up to Underwriter level or a PI Broker looking to move over to underwriting. This role will offer the opportunity to build on your experience in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
You’ll be working on renewals, assessing risk, and making sure policies are priced and documented accurately. It’s a role that blends technical detail with client interaction, so you’ll need to be comfortable speaking with brokers, gathering information, and helping guide submissions through the process smoothly.
The work is varied. One day you might be reviewing existing policy data and calculating premiums, the next you’ll be preparing documentation or supporting audits. You’ll be part of a team that values accuracy, responsiveness, and a good understanding of the market.
You will receive a competitive base salary up to £42, as well as a strong overall benefits package.
