English Teacher - Wellingborough

We are partnering with several well-regarded secondary schools across Wellingborough that are seeking motivated English Teachers for September 2026 or April 2026. These full-time roles are available as contract or permanent positions, offering opportunities to teach across KS3 and KS4, with some schools providing KS5 teaching for suitable candidates.
About the Role
* Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities where available
* Plan and adapt lessons to support learners of all abilities, including those with SEND or EAL needs
* Use assessment data to track progress, identify gaps, and adjust teaching strategies
* Encourage creativity, analytical thinking, and confidence in students"’ spoken and written communication
* Collaborate with English department colleagues to share best practice and enhance curriculum delivery
* Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities such as literacy clubs, debating societies, and reading initiatives
Who We're Looking For
* Qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for English Language and Literature
* Ability to inspire, challenge, and engage students of all backgrounds and abilities
* Confident classroom management with a proactive approach to pastoral care
* Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
* Enthusiasm for extracurricular literacy activities and supporting whole-school initiatives
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome, with full induction and mentoring provided
