Job Description
Currently recruiting an interim Procurement Data Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract for an exciting organisation in the Manchester area.
This is a critical role, taking ownership of all procurement systems, data and reporting.
The role:
* Overall accountability of master databases including contracts and savings reporting tools
* Proactively manage and analyse data
* Establishment of a spend dashboard which can be used to support Procurement Managers with category-specific strategies and plans
* Extraction of system data to generate cyclical and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders
* Managing low value/low risk category which includes building procurement strategies and leading tender processes in compliance with the company policy and Public Sector Procurement.
* Key reporting and review duties
* Proactively track and manage procurement contracts using the e-procurement systems
* Support the promotion of procurement strategies within the organisation
* Utilisation of existing systems/reporting to streamline existing trackers/reports through increased automisation and AI
* Own and manage procurement inbox.
Your profile:
* 2+ years working a procurement department
* A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly an advanced level of Excel
* Ability to work independently and use initiative with a proactive approach
* Strong Analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at any one time
* Experience of high-volume data management and reporting
* Demonstration of accuracy and thoroughness; ability to look for ways to improve processes
* Ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders
* Broad based professional procurement experience combined with commercial and financial awareness
* Well-developed influencing skills in managing effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
* Experience of procurement systems including e-sourcing/e-tendering and procurement tender process
