Job Description
Your Responsibilities
1. Safely and efficiently operating a limited range of packaging line equipment in accordance with the production plan, ensuring product quality standards are met as part of the Packhall Production team.
2. Responsible for own personal safety and that of others working in their vicinity.
3. Ensuring product quality standards are maintained by following documented procedures and through high standards of cleanliness, GMP compliance, accurate record keeping and participation in audits.
4. Ensuring safe start-up, running and shutdown of plant and machinery and carrying out product, packaging and size changeovers.
5. Basic fault finding and rectification activities on packaging lines.
6. Liaising and assisting the maintenance department in dealing with more complex line issues.
7. Effective communication between shifts, departments and layers of organisation.
8. Developing wider equipment knowledge.
9. Participation in Performance Excellence improvement activities where appropriate.
Your Profile
10. Educated to GCSE (or equivalent)
11. Good basic Math’s & English skills
12. Experience in manufacturing/factory environment beneficial but not essential
13. Use of basic IT
14. Ability to learn
15. Problem solving skills
16. Good communication skills
