Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Colour Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our leather products meet high standards of colour and gloss as per customer specifications. Your primary duties will include electronic and visual colour assessment, measurement, and matching, utilising advanced equipment such as Datacolour and RK Coater. You will also manage the colour master library, work closely with process operatives, and identify continuous improvement opportunities within the finishing department. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, results-driven, and able to manage changing priorities effectively, working both independently and as part of a team to uphold our commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.


Responsibilities

* Conduct electronic and visual colour assessment, measurement, and matching to customer specifications.
* Utilise equipment such as Datacolour and RK Coater to achieve accurate colour and gloss standards.
* Manage the colour master library and maintain accurate records.
* Collaborate with process operatives and other team members to drive continuous improvement in the finishing department.
* Adapt to changing priorities while delivering high-quality results and maintaining safety and sustainability standards.


Qualifications

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Good numeracy and communication skills.
* Superior colour vision, as assessed by the Farnsworth Munsell test.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
* Reliable, resilient, and proactive in seeking solutions.
