Clerical Officer/Waiting list Clerk - Endoscopy
An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Endoscopy Unit for the position of Clerical Officer Administrative Support/Waiting lists Clerk.
The successful candidate needs to provide and maintain an efficient and effective administrative service in line with local policies and procedures.
To manage and monitor an Endoscopy waiting list to ensure that tests and procedures are carried out within the specified Government targets and agreed protocols.
General and Administrative Duties:
* Maintain an efficient and effective administrative service.
* Answer telephone enquiries and update the computer database.
* Check the waiting lists daily and add new referrals to IPM lists.
* Book appointments.
* Send out patient appointment letters.
* Maintain professional standards in appearance, behaviour and punctuality.
* Excellent IT skills.
