Job overview
The post holder will be a specialist practitioner in adult haematology and solid tumour oncology. The role involves clinical screening of inpatient and outpatient Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT), providing clinical ward cover to haematology wards, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team making decisions about the best care for patients.
The post holder also has essential operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth running and delivery of the day-to-day production pharmacy service, supporting, managing, and developing specific aspects of the service.
As we work more closely with local partners, you will play a key role in planning the future of high-risk injectable medicines supplies to improve patient care, efficiency, and safety.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be a specialist in adult haemato- and solid tumour oncology, responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to Cancer Services at KCH – PRUH.
The post holder is responsible for the delivery and development of Aseptic Services at Kings College Hospital NHS Trust, including cytotoxic chemotherapy, centralised intravenous additives (CIVAS), and aseptic manufacturing services.
