Position: SEN Primary Teacher
Location: Hambrook School, Burgess Hill, West Sussex RH15 8HZ
Salary: Up to £44,310 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Start date: September 2025

Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering exciting, creative lessons that engage and inspire
* Monitoring and assessing students’ progress, ensuring personal development and wellbeing are prioritised alongside academic achievement
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing, effective learning environment
* Using innovative approaches to bring learning to life in and beyond the classroom

Who We're Looking For
* Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Passionate about teaching pupils with SEN, particularly autism and complex needs
* Creativity, patience, and dedication in the classroom
* Clear and compassionate communication with pupils, families, and professionals
* Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a caring team
About Us
Hambrook School opened in September 2023 and received an Ofsted rating of Good within seven months. We provide a structured, nurturing environment and a broad, engaging curriculum. All pupils have an autism diagnosis and an EHCP. We are expanding to meet demand from Local Authorities in Sussex and Surrey.
