Working within our successful Foil Business Division we are seeking a new German and English speaking (spoken and written) Customer Service Representative. This role is based at our Basingstoke site in the UK, on site 4 days each week and 1 day working from home.
Our German and UK customer service hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm. The standard working pattern will be 37 hours per week (5 days per week). On Friday from 8.30am to 2.30pm. With no weekend work.

Responsibilities:
1. Be our European customers point of contact for all their questions (working within a small team). Providing information which will include up to date price lists, quotations and specific part number confirmation etc.
2. Processing Customer orders (initial data entry and subsequent customer amendments), the primary function of this role, which includes confirming product pricing and customer delivery dates.
3. Coordinates all customer complaints including requests for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation). Aligning expectations with individual product warranties.
4. Handle customer RFQ's (Requests For Quotations), processing these in a timely manner with full supporting documentation for review by business leaders. Additionally, administering approved offers and following-up on all opportunities. Following the completion of a sale you will complete all data gathering documentation.
5. New material requests coordinated for set-up and implementation for ordering and quoting including material master and customer material information records.
6. Contribute to the weekly backlog review of customer business, with emphasis on the supervision of purchase orders until product delivery, including communicating any special arrangements.
7. Follow-up Field Application Engineer (FAE) activities, examples include checking-in with customers following a visit, or ensuring the customer receives samples of particular products. In addition, eventually you will support our FAE team administratively and search for new customers for them to visit.
8. Communicates critical customer information/requirements to business units.
9. Optional customer visits/public exhibitions if agreed to by all parties.
10. Creating and maintaining customer accounts and contact lists.
