Job Purpose / The Role
As Platform Administrator you will support the cloud engineering function in the day‑to‑day activities within the Engineering and Operations service, with responsibility for carrying out platform administration tasks and duties on technical system platforms. You will support staff and activities aligned to this function that sustain a seamless delivery of platform capability. You will work with system representatives where appropriate and develop and implement new features, including planning and software releases. The role will also provide service catalogue support to the user base, covering system support, business as usual support, problem management and application deployment.
Minimum Requirements
* Completion of formal training in the administration of business‑capability platforms such as Microsoft or other software vendors
Qualifications
* Effectively communicating and engaging with external partners
* Working with technology vendors and partners to optimise value
* Addressing and resolving technical problems
* Knowledge of emerging digital technologies
* Experience with IT operations and platform administration
* Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* High‑level communication, both oral and written; proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters
* Attention to detail and excellent time management
