About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health professional to undertake a role with a workforce of c700 colleagues. This is an ideal role for someone looking to step into a fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same. As Occupational Health Advisor you will provide an effective and efficient care service to the 2 Sisters Employees, this involves the full OH remit including absence management and referrals, rehabilitation, health surveillance including new starter medicals, audiometry, FLT fitness for work and function tests. You will work closely with H&S and HR and various Managers whilst you help support them in monitoring and managing sickness, accident investigations and much more. Duties of the role will include: · Support managers and provide advice on a full range of OH matters. · Full OH remit including health surveillance and medicals, complex case management and fitness for work. · Map and analyse OH processes, understand blockers and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and satisfaction. · Contribute to the updating and maintenance of OH policies and procedures. · Produce and analyse OH Statistics. · Always ensure confidentiality, only releasing confidential information obtained during employment, in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act. · Support organisation wide initiatives to improve wellbeing and engagement. · Engage in promoting the core behaviours of the 2 Sisters Food Group. Bring those qualities, with the following and you will have the recipe for success: · Registered General Nurse (RGN) · OH, qualifications or 3 years relevant OH experience. · Audiometry and spirometry training, HAVs tier 3 desirable · Ability to apply skill and knowledge to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common-sense approach. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office Suite · Ability to develop professional relationships and credibility with management and employees at multiple factory units. · Knowledge of a fast-moving FMCG manufacturing environment is preferred. · High attention to detail. · An approachable, fair, and open manner.
