Industrial Placement StudentIndustrial Placement Student, Leeds, England, United Kingdom, Other, Chemicals## Our goals - Your pathWe have an exciting opportunity for two Undergraduate Engineers to join our Process Engineering team for a one-year placement in Leeds or Preston.**About Process Engineering at Sika**Sitting within the Operations function, the UK Process Engineering team take the lead in the development, implementation and improvement of the equipment and processes across all the UK sites ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently.The process engineering team based at Leeds drive the development of capital and operational development projects across process and packing plant used in the manufacture of sealants and adhesives. This includes the specification, installation and commissioning of an extensive capital investment programme and working with cross functional teams to improve performance of existing equipment to reduce cost, improve reliability and maximise efficiency.**The Opportunity**This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to-· Lead your own continuous improvement projects· Take an active role in the installation and commissioning phases of new projects· Work across departments to develop solutions and implement changes**The Support**You will work alongside an experienced team of process engineers who will ensure you have a rewarding and diverse placement year that gives you hands on experience that will stand you in good stead in the world of work after graduation.
