If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make an impact, this could be the opportunity for you

At LEO Pharma, we are global leaders in medical dermatology. We have 115 years' experience in bringing innovation to healthcare, and we are eager to do much more. Each year, close to 100 million people have a better day because of our medicines.

In the Global Medical Affairs team, we share a "challenge accepted" mindset and are guided by our winning behaviours of simplification, collaboration, and accountability, to achieve our goals.

Your Role
You will join a high‑impact, cross‑functional team during the crucial pre‑launch phase. This role offers the opportunity to influence NICE submissions, develop clinical augmentation for payer decision‑making, map stakeholder landscapes, lead engagement with key experts and collaborate closely with healthcare organisations.

If you enjoy strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and working at pace in a collaborative environment, this is a chance to make a real difference to patient access.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

* Developing and preparing scientific materials for external stakeholder engagement.
* Conducting scientific presentations at customer locations or key accounts.
* Serving as the primary medical contact for customer queries, supporting business strategy.
* Fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and industry experts.
* Collecting and sharing field insights with the Global Medical Affairs team and local business units.
* Proactively identifying investigator-initiated study opportunities and other scientific collaborations.
* Collaborating in the development and successful execution of the Medical Strategy Plan.
* Providing medical information at national and international congresses.
* Reviewing of promotional and non-promotional materials for accuracy and compliance.
* Delivering compelling training, medical expertise and guidance to commercial teams.

Please note, this is a field‑based role covering the UK & Ireland, with approximately 60% travel expected.

Your Qualifications

* Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as MSc, PhD, or MD in fields related to thrombosis, oncology, haematology, or vascular medicine are highly preferred.
* Prior experience in a Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally focusing on thrombosis and/or oncology.
* In-depth understanding of thrombotic disorders, anticoagulant treatments, and oncology.
* Familiarity with treatment guidelines, relevant to thrombosis and oncology care.
* Experience presenting scientific and clinical data to HCPs, ideally within thrombotic disorders or oncology, in multidisciplinary clinical settings.
* Ability to provide clinical insights into anticoagulants and cancer-associated vascular complications are especially valuable.
* Demonstrated success in training multidisciplinary teams on scientific topics related to thrombosis and/or oncology, and knowledge dissemination in congress participation or team meetings.
* A passion for staying updated on cutting-edge research in thrombosis and oncology, as well as emerging therapeutic platforms and unmet needs.
* Ability to identify scientific opportunities, such as investigator-initiated studies, or using feedback from clinical settings to influence medical strategies.
* Expertise in translating complex thrombosis and oncology data into accessible insights for healthcare professionals, internal collaborators, and payers.
* Professional fluency in English language.
