We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas and Heating Engineer to join our team delivering essential services across social housing properties in North Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strongmitment to safety,pliance, and customer satisfaction.
You will play a key role in ensuring that all gas servicing, maintenance, and repair works are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with regulatory standards.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs of domestic gas appliances and systems
2. Respond to reactive repair requests and emergency call-outs
3. Ensure all work ispleted in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations
4. Accuratelyplete job reports,pliance records, and documentation
5. Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and management to ensure excellent service delivery
6. Identify and report any additional work or safety concerns
7. Support scheduling and prioritisation of urgent jobs
Monday to Friday 39hrs, 1 in 12 on call, paid at an additional rate.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Gas Safe Registered (essential)
9. Relevant ACS qualifications ( CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1)
10. Experience working within social housing or domestic environments
11. Strong understanding of health & safety andpliance
12. Excellentmunication and customer service skills
13. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
14. Full UK driving licence(less than 3 points on your licence)
Must have experience in social housing, across Boilers/ Fire and Cookers.
