Purpose

As Social Media & Community Lead, you will be instrumental in defining, delivering, and elevating our global social presence across all three brands. You’ll be responsible for both shaping the long‑term strategy and ensuring seamless day‑to‑day execution across all platforms, driving brand awareness and engagement.

Reporting to the Global Brand Manager and working alongside the broader marketing team, this is an opportunity for an individual who lives & breathes social and gets their kicks from creating content that sparks inspiration, engagement and conversation.

As Social Media & Community Lead, for an ambitious SME, your role will be fast‑paced and give you the opportunity to work across multiple channels in a fun and supportive environment.

From speaking directly to our social community to planning & publishing content to engage with them, you will be responsible for bringing our brand to life through social.

From new product launches to knowledge sharing, there’s always something to talk about at GSG!

A taste of what you’ll be doing:

* Develop and lead the global organic social media strategy for all three brands (GSG, Snüz and The Little Green Sheep), aligned to brand, community, and commercial goals.
* Shape an Instagram‑first strategy for our global accounts, supported by a secondary approach across TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn to amplify reach and engagement.
* Content planning and creation ensuring everything feels beautifully crafted, emotive, and on brand.
* Develop social content calendars that ladder into key moments, from product launches to brand campaigns.
* Lead community management with care, responding in a warm, reassuring, and on‑brand tone while building meaningful relationships with our community.
* Use social listening to understand evolving community needs, sentiment, and cultural moments, feeding these insights back into content, product thinking, and brand strategy.

Skills & strengths

* 4 year’s social media experience + (primarily Instagram & TikTok, secondary Facebook, Pinterest & LinkedIn)
* Experience working with a national or global retail / consumer brand
* Technical: Experience Sprout & Figma are desirable and the ability to use the Microsoft suite (PowerPoint & Excel) with the aptitude to learn further internal systems
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Positive energy & creative flair
* Agile, ‘can‑do’ attitude able to adapt from administrative to creative tasks
* Collaborative and supportive nature
