Location: St Ninians Primary School, Torbrex Road, St Ninians, Stirling, FK7 9AS
St Ninians Primary School is seeking a motivated, self-organised, confident, and experienced Support for Learning Assistant to join our team.
Our school is an exciting place to work and learn, with support and inclusion for young learners at the heart of everything we do. Our staff are forward-thinking and part of a friendly, warm team.
Our SLA staff work closely with teachers to design activities and programmes suitable for children, supporting their learning and progress. This may involve outdoor learning, group activities, individual support, or classroom-based assistance.
Your role will also include supporting children during break times in the playground and lunch hall. This involves fostering good relationships and helping children resolve conflicts through games or restorative conversations.
As part of the SLA team and the wider school community, you will feel supported and be encouraged to be a positive team member, supporting others as well.
If this role excites you and you believe you have the qualities we seek, we look forward to receiving your application.
The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If progressed to interview, you will need to complete the necessary forms and verification.
We welcome applications from candidates regardless of age (note restrictions for Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief, or race.
