Are you a passionate and motivated physiotherapist looking to develop your expertise in neurological rehabilitation? Join our dynamic Physiotherapy Neuro Rehabilitation rotation. The rotation consists of START (ESD for Stroke), Forth Valley Neuro Rehabilitation Team, Specialist Rehabilitation Unit (bed based rehab within Bellfield Centre in Stirling) and in patient Acute Stroke Rehabilitation. Currently the vacancy sits within the Forth Valley Neuro Rehabilitation Team Forth Valley Neuro Rehabilitation Team is a community based specialist team providing person-centred care to individuals with acquired and progressive neurological conditions. About the Service We support individuals whose neurological conditions significantly impact their daily lives. Our multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech & language therapists and therapy assistant practitioners. What We Offer As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will contribute to: Neuro-specialist assessment and rehabilitation In-Reach and Out-Reach support to other services Neuro-palliative rehabilitation to promote independence and prevent complications (e.g. MS, MND) Complex tone and postural management, including MDT interventions, sleep system provision, and postural seating advice Uni-disciplinary specialist physiotherapy, such as management of complex tone ✅ What We’re Looking For HCPC-registered Physiotherapist Experience in neurological rehabilitation Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills Commitment to person-centred, goal-oriented care Ability to manage a varied caseload with complex needs Why Join Us? The service is based in Falkirk Community Hospital and covers the whole of Forth Valley so the successful candidate will have the ability to travel area wide. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post. The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
