The Client
Has been defined by its strategic position throughout Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland, SME/economic landscape. Its purpose is to act as a service provider to clients who require facilitation in accessing and entering new cross-border markets, developing new products, processes, and services, and becoming investor-ready. Currently, they are seeking a post-holder to support department directors in managing existing and upcoming projects.
The Role
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing support to Project Managers responsible for Innovation Programmes.
* Processing information and documentation for all stages of Innovation Programmes according to established processes.
* Raising purchase orders, reviewing invoices, claims, and processing payments.
* Handling queries related to claims from companies and academic institutions via online and phone communication.
* Responding to programme enquiries from companies, delivery consultants, and stakeholders.
* Accurately inputting, recording data, and updating management information systems.
* Performing other duties as required in support of project managers.
The Ideal Candidate
The following criteria, alongside competency-based examples of experience, will be considered:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role involving planning, prioritising, and organising workload.
* Ability to interpret and process a range of data/information accurately for reports, papers, and presentations.
* Experience in monitoring and managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and identifying issues.
* Strong IT skills in a business environment, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM databases, and online systems such as SurveyMonkey.
* Ability to work independently and manage workload and priorities effectively.
* Ability to build effective working relationships.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
