GSL Education are inviting applications for a PE Teacher to support schools in the Sheffield (S35) area, delivering energetic lessons that encourage participation and skill development. In this role, the Physical Education ( PE) Teacher will plan and deliver practical and theory-based sessions that help pupils improve physical ability, teamwork, and understanding of healthy lifestyles within a supportive environment. Key Duties of PE Teacher: Plan and deliver structured PE lessons in line with the curriculum. Encourage active participation, resilience, and fair play. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning atmosphere. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to support wider sports and wellbeing initiatives. Essential Requirements: Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
