Daily Rate: £90-£100/day | Contract: Full-time, long-term | Start Date: September 2025
We are recruiting SEN Support Assistants to work in a Leeds specialist provision, supporting pupils with special educational needs. This role is ideal for experienced TAs, support workers, or graduates seeking a rewarding career in education.
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
* Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging, accessible lessons
* Use positive behaviour strategies to create a safe, structured environment
* Support students with their personal, social, and/or emotional development
* Encourage independence and build strong, supportive relationships
* Experienced Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants - three months' work experience at minimum required
* Individuals with school-based experience - Essential AND Carework backgrounds - Desirable (non Essential)
* Psychology, education, or related graduates looking to gain hands-on SEN experience
* Candidates with a full UK driving licence (desirable for flexibility across sites)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, school hours)
* Empathy, resilience, and strong communication skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
* £90-£100 per day (paid weekly)
