Eligibility and documentation
Before we can employ you, we are required to verify your eligibility to work in the UK & Ireland. Acceptable documents to evidence your right to work can be found here. You’ll need to provide original documents such as a valid passport or a valid UK/Ireland visa (with a college letter listing term dates, where applicable). Only original documents will be accepted.
Interview and values
The interview is a vital part of our hiring process. We look for values and attitudes and opportunities to demonstrate why you’d be the right fit at McDonald’s. We may ask for examples of times you’ve worked as part of a team and how you contributed. We hire for qualities and potential, rather than qualifications.
Prospects and culture
Our employees tend to stay with us because it’s a fun, sociable and flexible place to work, with opportunities to progress into roles with more responsibility. We’re recognised as a leading employer with award-winning learning, nationally-recognised qualifications, comprehensive benefits and flexible working arrangements, as well as a clear career path. McDonald’s values include Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community and Family, and we strive to foster a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.
