Senior Finance Business Partner
Location: Remote (with 1 day per month in the Northwest office)
Travel: 1-2 days per month to UK offices
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: 6-12 month fixed-term contract
The opportunity
This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a well established Financial Services business at an exciting point in its journey. The role offers genuine progression, creative freedom and exposure across all levels of the organisation, working on a wide range of interesting and high-impact projects.
You'll play a critical role in supporting commercial decision-making, shaping financial insight and helping drive both organic growth and acquisition integration. This is a varied and visible role, ideal for someone who enjoys operating across strategy and detail in a complex, evolving environment.
The role
Reporting into the central finance function, you will partner closely with the Commercial Director and senior management teams to deliver high-quality financial insight, robust forecasting and meaningful performance analysis.
Given the pace of growth and ongoing acquisition activity, the role requires someone comfortable navigating complexity - moving seamlessly from strategic thinking to granular P&L analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Key responsibilities
Financial business partnering across multiple integrated and non-integrated businesses
Ownership of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting cycles
Supporting business acquisition integrations and post-acquisition reporting
Managing, developing and improving central FP&A Excel models
Supporting full P&L reviews and reporting to the Executive Board, private equity stakeholders and financial partners
Producing month-end reporting packs, presentations and insight
Acting as a key link between Management Accounting and FP&A
Supporting and improving the use of business systems, including Power BI
Driving consistency and standardisation of reporting, performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Supporting data cleanse and data quality improvement initiatives
Implementing and maintaining robust processes and controls
Delivering ad-hoc commercial analysis and project support
Building strong, collaborative relationships across Commercial, Operations, Marketing, IT and other functions
Identifying and implementing improved ways of working to enhance efficiency, quality and timeliness

Essential requirement
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
