The Role
This is a varied role combining
Estimating
and
Procurement / Purchasing
, working as part of a team of experienced professionals.
Estimating
* Calculating costs to supply products to the NHS
* Liaising with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and information
* Full training and support provided — estimating experience is not essential, though strong administrative experience is required
Procurement / Purchasing
* Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers
* Sourcing and developing new suppliers to ensure competitiveness
* Supporting the company's continued success within the NHS print and packaging market
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Good negotiation skills
* Strong numeracy and basic arithmetic ability
* Excellent attention to detail and organisation
* Strong communication and administration skills
* IT literacy
* Ability to work on their own initiative
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with figures, suppliers, and systems, and who takes pride in accuracy and detail.
