As a Senior Digital Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Day‑to‑day, you'll take a leading role in delivering digital engineering and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions that support some of the UK's most critical infrastructure projects. From tender through to completion, you'll provide expertise in BIM, CAD, and Information Management, ensuring operational excellence and driving innovation.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of digital engineering and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions for critical infrastructure projects.
* Contribute to strategy and implementation of 3D CAD, BIM, and Information Management in line with ISO 19650.
* Work with delivery partners and clients to meet operational and strategic requirements.
* Ensure governance in tool selection, planning, and deployment.
* Support and lead digital strategy and delivery across the wider group.
* Engage stakeholders internally and externally to drive successful outcomes.
* Full‑time, 35 hours per week with hybrid working arrangements.
* Play a role in location‑specific duties at Birchwood, Leicester Radar Road, or Babcock Technology Centre sites.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in BIM implementation and management within nuclear or similarly complex industries.
* Strong leadership and people‑management skills, including client engagement.
* Expertise in Autodesk solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, Inventor, Vault, and Synchro.
* Knowledge of product lifecycle management, digital manufacturing, or asset management—advantageous.
* Degree or equivalent experience in a digital or mechanical engineering field, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Must be able to achieve and maintain a Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
* Awareness of national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions; eligibility may be affected by nationality or residency.
