Salary:NICS Grade 7:£61,673 - £64,469 per annum Job type:Full-time, permanent Location: Skainos Centre, Belfast (with option for hybrid working) Closing:26 January 2026 at midday We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader to take on a senior role at Housing Rights. This is a pivotal position designed to enhance our financial resilience and expand our capacity to meet the increasing demand for our services. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the organisations strategic direction, ensuring we continue to prevent homelessness, while securing a sustainable future. About the role As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will: be responsible for leading the development and delivery of key support services including finance, human resources, IT, facilities, management reporting and governance have strategic responsibility for finance and for diversifying the organisations income stream with the objective of creating significantly greater financial independence for the organisation lead continuous improvement, service innovation and development of all aspects of Housing Rights work to maximise future opportunities and organisational effectiveness in the delivery of strategic objectives. have responsibility for ensuring the digital IT infrastructure of the organisation ensuring it supports the delivery of the organisations digital strategy. This post is available on a full-time, permanent basis, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of Housing Rights and help us scale our impact. About you As a senior leader in the organisation, you will be joining a dynamic team. You will bring expertise in your field along with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams. You are someone who thrives in dynamic environments, embraces innovation, and is committed to creating long-term, values-driven impact. The successful candidate will: hold a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline be a part-qualified accountant have a minimum of three years experience in a senior role, with responsibility for finance and governance with an evidenced track record in diversifying income streams for an organisation have minimum of three years experience in successfully managing people or teams to deliver results experience of developing and delivering continuous improvement initiatives and securing staff buy-in to proposed changes About Housing Rights Housing Rights has been helping people in Northern Ireland deal with housing and homelessness problems since 1964. We help people with their housing and homelessness problems through our helplines and advice work. We use their experiences to bring change and improvements with our policy work. We educate and inform others working in the housing and advice sectors to help their clients. All our work helps us to achieve our vision 'when everyone has a home'.
