Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Wellingborough, NN8
Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: 2nd September
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student with individual learning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support and help the student access the curriculum effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to a student within the classroom setting
* Assist with implementing differentiated learning plans
* Support the student in accessing the national curriculum and developing key skills
* Monitor and report on the student’s progress and wellbeing
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
* Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
* Experience working with children with additional learning needs preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting student learning
