Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of partner schools in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and reach their full potential. Our partner schools include mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist provisions, and alternative settings, offering a wide variety of experiences depending on your skills and preferences.
Your role will involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, assisting with differentiated learning activities, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils to develop both academically and socially. You may support children with a range of needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
We are looking for patient, empathetic and resilient individuals who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people with SEN. Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential, as Tradewind Recruitment offers excellent training and ongoing support. Graduates considering a future in teaching, psychology or education are particularly encouraged to apply.
