We pride ourselves not only on the quality of our work but on delivering exceptional customer service at every stage.Role OverviewAs an Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will play an integral role in supporting the Bodyshop Manager to ensure the smooth running of the workshop. This includes job carding of vehicles, organising parts, and helping to maintain operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Discuss planned repairs with customers, set expectations, and advise on estimated completion dates (ECD)Listen to customer requirements and concerns to ensure their satisfactionEnsure workshop documentation is accurate and comprehensiveWork closely with central functions to maintain a strong understanding of processesSkills & Experience Required:Previous experience in a team lead, supervisory, or parts-focused role, ideally in the automotive industryProactive and detail-oriented, with a “get it right first time” approachStrong communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and teamworking skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing demandsExcellent organisational skills with a focus on processGood IT skills and ability to learn new systems quicklyTechnical knowledge and experience in body and paint repair is desirable but not essentialJoining ABL 1 Touch means becoming part of a dynamic organisation that values its employees and offers opportunities for professional growth.
