In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the development and implementation of our Purification Business in UK & Ireland! Develop and achieve business objectives to improve our Thermo Fisher presence in the DSP (Downstream) market. Influence the use and evaluation of our CaptureSelect and POROS Bioprocess chromatography resins in Pharmaceutical and Biotech organizations. Engage with various levels of technical, manufacturing, and commercial partners, employing differentiated sales strategies based on customer segment and molecule entity Handle accounts with key influencers by collaborating closely with the Bioproduction Accounts Managers. Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase market share in the region. Discover and develop new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed targets. Maintain and grow business within existing key accounts. Provide accurate forecasts, lost order reporting, and competitive information on a regular basis. Ensure efficient and effective utilization of vital resources. Co-ordinate all issues with key clients between sales, support, customer services, marketing, and finance. How will you get here? B.Sc or higher degree in Life Science or relevant science subject. Deep understanding of the Biopharma and Bioprocessing Market. Experience in selling to Downstream customers is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Proven track record of establishing goals and achieving results. Highly motivated and well-organized self-starter. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and work through networks. Ability to run business remotely in a highly matrix organization Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce.com. Collaborative individual, capable of effectively collaborating with sales, marketing, product management, and customer service teams. Open to extensive travel within the region. Business fluent in English and another European language as a plus.
