The Service
Kyloe House aims to be an outstanding education provider. We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Teacher in Charge of ICT to support a national service for 14 young people, supported by dedicated care staff.
The Role
We are recruiting motivated, committed, and experienced individuals to join our school. The postholders will lead curriculum areas such as ICT, supported by a team of professionals.
This is an ideal opportunity for a creative individual with a proven record of securing strong pupil outcomes in ICT. The successful candidate will need to inspire our young people to achieve their full potential, demonstrate strong leadership, and foster high aspirations within the subject area. Kyloe House features purpose-built DT and food technology facilities, offering excellent development opportunities for students.
A willingness to support Kyloe’s ethos is essential. There are many opportunities for professional development through extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives. Education is delivered for two weeks in August, with the remaining two weeks in June and September.
We are offering:
* A starting salary of £35,674 plus secure unit and community home allowance
* Access to the Teacher pension scheme (or other pension schemes)
Essential Requirements:
* QTS or QTLS with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience
