We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Customer Experience Product team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.
As a Product Owner, within the Customer Experience Product team, you’ ll be part of a cross functional feature team and play a key role in ensuring the team continues to deliver excellent outcomes for both our customers and our business. This role is critical in ensuring we define, refine and deliver features that drive business outcomes associated to growth and simplification across our lending business.
What you’ll be doing
1. Collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and the development team to define clear, actionable, and prioritized requirements for prioritised features.
2. Continuously updating and maintaining the feature team backlog, ensuring it reflects the latest insights and priorities
3. Engaging in PI planning events to help refine the backlog, and map out team objectives for the upcoming increment.
4. Working closely with the development team during iteration execution to provide clarity, address questions, and ensure alignment with the product vision
5. Reviewing and validating product increments to ensure they meet the defined requirements and deliver value to customers
6. Participating in inspecting and adapting workshops to continuously improve processes, address issues, and enhance quality of feature team outputs.
We need you to have
7. Demonstrable experience working as a Product Owner, ideally within customer onboarding and customer journey
8. Previous people management experience to be able to drive and influence decisions
9. Solid understanding of customer pain points
10. Evidence of exceptional communication skills and an ability to convey information clearly and facilitation of open dialogue.
