Responsibilities
* Act as keyholder and be responsible for the security of Crayford and Hurst Community Centre, premises and contents during sessions when the centre is hired out. Ensure there are adequate tables and chairs in the halls and meeting rooms as requested by hirers when booking.
* Carry out light cleaning duties where necessary (e.g., sweeping, mopping and vacuuming rooms after use) and clean toilets if needed. Replenish hand soap and toilet rolls and empty bins.
* Ensure that health and safety regulations and fire evacuation procedures are understood by centre users. Keep means of escape clear at all times.
* Inspect the premises before and after use, checking that tables, chairs and other equipment are available and left in good order at the end of the session.
* Move equipment between rooms and assist members of the public using the facilities.
