We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated security officer to work at one of our prestigious sites in the City of London. Base pay range
Job Title: Security Officer
Reporting to: Site Manager
Hourly Rate: £13.85 ph
Hours of Work: Roster: 7 on (Thursday to Wednesday nights) with 2 days off; 2 on (weekends alternating days and nights) then 3 days off; 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the management of the security contract at the client’s premises and direct liaison with the security manager and supervisors
* Manage the day-to-day running of the building. Provide a high standard of service delivery. Liaise with all tenants and manage their requests, escalating as required to the onsite client, maintenance service provider, clients helpdesk and other service providers
* Provide full reports to the security manager and supervisors on maintenance and security-related issues, managing and closing these out
* Manage the access control system including the fire alarm and other plant equipment. Produce new access cards for tenants daily, ensuring correct access levels
* Comply with general data protection regulations (GDPR), as outlined in the assignment instructions
* Ensure assignment instructions are updated and adhered to at all times by security personnel
* Comply with company health and safety procedures
* Maintain a high standard of communication and good working relationships with all other security officers
* Carry out all other duties in a professional and diligent manner
* Ensure each site handover is done with all checks completed and messages included
Candidate specification
* Must be able to cope with high-pressure situations working within tight time lines (Essential)
* Excellent timekeeping and attendance is critical
* Security personnel must have the basic job training qualification or equivalent experience
* Must hold a valid SIA licence (DS Preferred)
* A valid First Aid At Work certificate is preferred (Not essential)
* Carry and be capable of using all security equipment necessary to efficiently perform the duties required of a professional Security Officer
