Job Summary
Macdonald & Company have partnered exclusively with a large national wholesaler who has an extensive estate throughout the UK.
They are looking to recruit an exceptional Asset & Estates Manager to cover a portfolio that stretches from the Northern Home Counties up to North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be based in the Northern Home Counties. This role involves active and effective asset management of the property portfolio.
You will be responsible for negotiations and liaising with landlords, managing agents, tenants, solicitors, surveyors, and third parties. You will act as the main point of contact between the landlords and handle licenses for alterations to leasehold documentation to ensure lease compliance. You will also manage the disposal of surplus properties and support the management of a nationwide property portfolio totaling approximately 4+ million sq ft, including rent payments (circa £15m per annum), service charges, and Business Rates.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of post-qualified experience; those with client-side experience are preferred. A full UK driver's license and willingness to travel regularly are essential.
Salary and package are flexible for the right candidate, likely around £50,000-£65,000 plus car and bonus.
